Our doctors fit a variety of contact lens types for specific visual needs. A majority of contact lens wearers successfully wear their lenses for many years. Contact lenses are often a preferred alternative to eyeglasses. Most patients are fit from our large fitting stock the same day. In addition there are some treatments of eye diseases that involve the use of contact lenses.
The Atlas Topographer maps the eye surface to assist in specialized contact lens fitting.		 Although contact lenses most often safe and effective there can be eye health issues that can range for mild irritation to serious sight threatening infection. See: Contact Lens Complications.
